The Golden Rules for a Healthy Life! - Each person can only be as healthy as the Nourishment he supplies to himself.
- A diet high in saturated Fat and high in salt is associated with an increased risk of Coronary Heart Disease.
- Make sure you supplement sufficient necessary Vitamins, Minerals, Enzymes, Trace Elements and Omega 3 Fatty Acid (see Chapter: Supplements Why?).
- Avoid unnecessary Stress from Electromagnetic Pollution especially in your sleeping area.
- Do not use cordless Phones, always use a headset for your mobile phone, avoid Microwave heated, cooked or even defrosted Food and the close contact to Mobile phone antennas and other antennas.
(see Chapter Microwave and Electro Smog). - Drink enough filtered Water during the day. The minimum Liquid intake of a Human would be 40ml for each KG Bodyweight. Extreme Situations like Climate, Heavy labour Work, Disease/Illness and Competitive Sport may recommend more. (see Chapter Water).
- Try to keep Positive, laugh a lot and enjoy life and Focus on the beautiful things in life. Your thoughts, beliefs and Life attitude have creative Powers. It is up to you to have a positive or negative Impact on your life as your thoughts and feelings will find expression in your life. (see Chapter The Power of Positive Thinking).
- Daily Exercise is important for us as we are not made for sitting as much as we do these days - our body is designed to move so that most of the day we do not to sit around behind desks and machines. Therefore our daily exercise (60 min) is essential for a healthy Life. (see Chapter Exercise)
- Doing some of it outside would be beneficial as we get fresh Air and our also essential dose of Vitamin D. (see Chapter Exercise).
- Vitamin D - Sunshine: In Australia, we are lucky to begranted so much sunshine.
- Fifteen minutes is an ideal limit for an individual to expose himself to the sun, whether he is wearing a T-shirt, Singlet or are Shirtless. (see Chapter Vitamin D).
- Good Quality and Quantity of Sleep - Sufficient Sleep is essential for us to regenerate our Body and to produce our essential Growth Hormones. This is the only way that our body can produce some of these Hormones - that is also the reason that we cannot suvive long withoutenough sleep. (See Chapter Sleep).
- 60% of Cancer could be prevented by a change of healthy Nutrition! High Fibre and whole grain products as well as low Fat foods can be the potential prevention of colon, stomach and breast Cancer.
- Many Experts believe that an unhealthy Nutrition high in Fat, Sugar, Processed Foods and low in nutrients essential to fertility, can lead to Infertility and increase the chances of a Miscarriage.
- A diet high in Fat, Sugar and Salt leads to weight gain and increases the Risk of Obesity. Having excess weight does not just increase the risk of Heart Disease, Diabetes, Cancer and Infertility, it is also associated with Fatigue, Low Self-Esteem and poor mental and physical performance.
- An unhealthy diet increases the risk of Depression and Mood Swings. It is also linked to PMS, Food Cravings and Anxiety.
- Nutrition high in Additives, Preservatives, Sweeteners and Refined Sugar can cause poor Concentration, Hyperactivity, ADHD and Aggression. This is because foods high in additives and Sugar are low in Chromium as this is removed in refining procedures. Chromium is needed for controlling Blood Sugar Levels. When these Levels are out of control this can trigger mentioned Behaviour Problems.
- Nutrition low in Calcium (Vegetal not from Dairy), which is needed to keep our bones strong, increases the risk of weak bones or even Osteoporosis.
