The most common body signs to look out for to assess the state of your health are:

Viral Infection = we are tired and want to sleep a lot!

MOUTH
Puffy Lower Lip
This indicates digestive stagnation and could even suggest constipation.
Keep in mind that even if you move your bowels every day, it does not mean you are not constipated. Not everything we eat comes out as effectively as it should.
Solution:A digestive enzyme supplement along with spirulina should make a difference. Eat simply, drink warm herbal teas and eat hearty vegetable soups. Slippery elm tea will soothe your system. Detox with the Steffen’s Matrix Clearing Kit. See chapter Detox for more details.
Cracks at each corner of the Mouth

Add the following hair-nourishing supplements to your diet every day: selenium (200mcg), biotin (600mcg), and 1 Reishi mushroom capsule. Immediately reduce the amount of sugary foods you eat and if you have a yeast problem look at the Chapter Gut/Intestinal Restoration.
TONGUE
The tongue is an important indicator of health and is described as being like a window to the organs of the body. The extreme tip correlates to the heart, the part slightly behind is the lungs. The left side shows what the liver is doing and the right side the gallbladder. The middle indicates the condition of your spleen and stomach, the back the bladder, kidneys, intestines, and womb. A healthy tongue should be smooth, supple and slightly moist. It should be pale red in colour with a very thin, white film. The most common tongue indicators to look out for are coatings (yellow, furry, thick, white), lines, cracks, ravines, swellings, patches of red and cuts.
Sore Tongue
This is a sign of nutrient deficiency – often vitamin B6, iron or niacin.
Solution:Take Multivitamin and mineral supplements and drink nettle teas. Get your iron levels checked.
Crack down the middle of the tongue
A midline crack suggests your digestion is inadequate and you have a weak stomach. The most likely cause of this is being depleted of nutrients. Bloating after eating and energy slumps in the middle of the afternoon are common.
Solutions:Eat soups, stews and blends – foods that are easy to digest. Don’t guzzle fizzy drinks and don’t drink liquids at meal times. Take a digestive enzyme with meals – this is a supplement which helps to break down food during digestion. Use the Digestive Kit and look at the Chapter Gut/Intestinal Restoration.
Swollen Tongue and/or Thick White Coating
These are indictors that there is too much mucus in the body. They are also signs of an elevation of yeasts and also a lack of beneficial bacteria.
Solution:Take Probiotic capsules (Dairy Free) or powder to replenish your body with healthy bacteria. You will need a six month course. Cut down on dairy products. These foods are mucus producing and your inner organs are too damp to deal with them. Use the Digestive Kit and look at the Chapter Gut/Intestinal Restoration.
Thick Yellow Coating
A thick yellow coating on the tongue indicates excess heat in the gut. It also means you don’t have enough healthy bacteria in your body. Should the coating be present at the back of the tongue, you need to pay attention to your colon. Your bowels are not working as well as they should be.
Solution:Cool yourself down with 2 tablespoons of aloe vera juice before meals. You may be run down, so take it easy. Drink sage tea (2 cups a day for a month) Alternate with camomile tea. Use Probiotic and the Digestive Kit and look at the Chapter Gut/Intestinal Restoration.
Teeth marks around the sides
This indicates nutritional deficiency as well as a likelihood of digestion impairment. The spleen is also affected. The spleen has many important functions. It works in tandem with your stomach for the uptake of nutrients from the foods you eat and is responsible for getting rid of worn out red blood cells by recycling them and transforming them into iron to build the blood. It also neutralises unhealthy bacteria, therefore helping reduce colds and flu when it is strong.
Solutions:Eat foods which nourish the spleen. These include oats, carrots, celery, parsley, mung and kidney beans, barley beetroot, chicken, alfalfa, lychees, fennel, pumpkin and sweet potatoes.
Burning Tongue
This is a sign that the stomach is lacking in gastric digestive juices. The result may also be an upset stomach.
Solution:Take a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar before each meal. Drink a cup of dandelion tea twice a day. Hydrochloric acid tablets can help to adjust the gastric juices in the stomach.
Red Tip
A red tip indicates emotional upset, strain or stress on your body. This upset disturbs the normal energy balance within the body, causing your inner energy to stagnate, especially if the strain is prolonged. There maybe an excess of stress hormones flowing through your system.
Solution:Discover the best way for you to deal with your emotional stress or upset. Use the Universal Medicine Breathing/Meditation Technique and book in for a Universal Medicine Session to help you deal with Emotions, Stress, Anxiety and Depression.
