The Power Of Mind

The Power Of Mind

Positive thinking and imagination can be very strong!

In my early days as a Practitioner dealing with a lot of athletes, particularly bodybuilders, I was confronted with a young German man that wanted to grow big.

He was very skinny and wanted to gain 10kg of Muscle Mass in 6 months. He was so obsessed with that Idea that he was willing to do anything, including taking Steroids, to reach his goal. I tried to convince him not to go down that path and told him all about the side effects - but nothing could get him away from that plan.

So I thought ‘no way, why should he take Steroids that would harm his health'? So I told him I would help him and prescribe all the necessary products.

What he got, aside from a training plan, a healthy eating plan to gain weight (Stoneage Nutrition) and some vitamin supplements, was a secret little tablet box with white tablets. I advised him that these are the latest Steroid tablets that the Russian Weightlifters use to put on weight. He should take one tablet three times per day and do not wonder that they may taste like Peppermint as they put that in, to make them look and smell harmless.

The young man gained eight kilograms of muscles in six months and was very happy with the result. He had changed his eating habits, incorporated regular weight and cardio training and was looking and feeling good.

He was not worried about the two kilograms missing on his 10kg weight plan and just wanted to maintain his fitness.

Talking to me he told me there was just a little shadow on the whole scenario, referring to his progress with the aid of chemical substances.

I assured him he would not have to worry as the whole result was based on his eating, the supplements and his training.

But what about the white pills he wanted to know and all the side effects I had told him about?

So I had to tell him that that was his strong mind, imagination, faith, hope and his strong will to believe he could make it and reach his goal.

The little white tablets were Peppermint Tic Tacs that were really popular in Europe at the time.

Like Dale Carnegie once said: "Believe that you will succeed, and you will."

Your Brain can be a very powerful Tool!
